What the show lacks in narrative, it partly makes up for in visuals. The sweeping landscapes are stunning, and the Indigenous cultural elements add an extra layer of intrigue beyond the typical crime-thriller formula. While the story isn’t groundbreaking, the overall pacing keeps it watchable.

The opening immediately got me hooked, and the pacing of the first three episodes works well. Yet once the drug-trafficking subplot emerges, the narrative becomes messy and inconsistent, with poorly executed gunfights and confusing character motivations. Certain developments feel unearned—for example, the idea that a victim dating Sean automatically implies that he's the killer doesn’t hold up logically.

"UNTAMED" interweaves two gripping murder mysteries set against the striking backdrop of a national park. As Kyle searches for truth and mourns his son, his explosive temper and conflicted morals begin to emerge. His polite exterior conceals a fractured soul, and the series smartly highlights that contradiction to explore the darker corners of human nature.

With two accomplished directors and a cast of seasoned veterans, "UNTAMED" delivers a high-caliber production. A compelling lead character anchors the show—flawed yet principled, intelligent yet fallible. It’s this careful balance that makes him feel so real.

Me agrada mucho drama

Me llevé una gran desilusión con este cansino thriller policial, que funciona poco como drama y como neowestern.
Esperaba mucho más por ser del mismo guionista de la gran serie American Primeval y de El renacido.
Un Eric Bana bastante inexpresivo, personajes planos, los clichés del investigador con trauma a cuestas, un desarrollo moroso, resoluciones demasiado habladas y el bello paisaje del Parque Yosemite casi desaprovechado como “personaje”, salvo en dos o tres escenas de acción muy buenas, sobre todo la inicial y que constituyen los momentos mejores y más intensos de la serie.
