After the Shadow
- Crime
After surviving the events of Shadow of a Stranger, retired detective Sam Walkins has spent years trying to leave his past behind. Haunted by the death of his partner and the case that nearly cost him his life, Sam now lives in isolation, taking no cases and trusting no one. But when a local man goes missing and evidence points to a name Sam never expected to hear again, old wounds are reopened and long-buried secrets begin to surface. As shadows from the past return, Sam is forced to confront unfinished business, dangerous enemies, and a mystery that may be bigger than anything he has faced before.
