1978 (2024)★ 8.0/10

Let this movie be a hit. With an opening that's as good as the mahjong scene in Lust, Caution (or even better). When it was almost ready to be another film about dirty wars and military dictatorship in the most mature way, perhaps to break the mold? It turned out to be a zombie survival movie.

Really hard to give score! Nearly first one hour, especially the opening scene are so excellent, conveys the terrifying atmosphere of the interrogation during Dirty War through the correct and tense editing rhythm and the wonderful performances of those villains. But later totally changed to horror genre, I can't say it's not good, after all, this huge transfer give this movie its own personality.
