Amparo Lamar (Ana Belén) is a fading, penniless diva whose acting career has long since ended. Desperate and entirely alone, she checks into a decadent hotel in Tenerife-the exact location where she filmed one of her forgotten movies-planning to commit suicide in hopes that the press will finally notice her again. Her plans are derailed when she crosses paths with Toni (Manu Vega), a tormented 20-year-old man who is at the hotel intending to end his own life as well. Over the course of two days, the two lost souls bond over their mutual vulnerabilities, gradually uncovering dark, unexpected secrets hidden beneath the backdrop of bored tourists and fading glamour.
