In the shadow of the Rákosi era, on the orders of the party, two young printers have to produce the stamp celebrating the World Cup victory for the Hungarian national team in advance. However, the Golden Team suffers an unexpected defeat in the 1954 Bern final, which puts them in a dramatic situation. The film shows the ten days of that fateful World Cup, when they are already preparing for victory at home, while Puskás and his team are forced to face defeat abroad. Pajer's work sensitively shows how a nation's certainty collapses and what the consequences of losing faith are.
