Sete Véus (2023)★ 6.4/10

Atom Egoyan, now a stage play director, continues to delve into the theme of peeling back layers of trauma, a motif he has explored for over a decade. He still employs media exploration and surveillance as his tools, revolving around the theme of familial taboo. Returning from the distant and mysterious "Ararat" Mountains to the newly established Salome Theatre in Ontario, he continues to delicately expose the truth. This time, his storytelling flows even smoother than in "The Captive" and "Guest of Honor."
