Lucifer (2019)★ 7.4/10

Bones (2005-2017), a feel-good crime drama, was just ending its run as Lucifer was beginning. Both these television crime series have solid and engaging plots coupled with fascinating interactions between the male and female leads. In Lucifer, there is a fun, supernatural twist added. The evolving story arcs provide riveting, and oftentimes emotional backstories, for both series. With Lucifer, the screenwriters push it up a delicious notch. The last season is spectacular, and though the last two episodes aren't excellent, they are fine and offer a more than satisfying conclusion for anyone who'd committed to watching the entire series. It's one of the more entertaining and lighthearted series that I'd rewatch in the future.

With all the other amazing shows out there that don't have the sexist undertones and are highly diverse, I just can't give this show 10 stars. However, this show has some very interesting and amazing characters. I'm totally hooked. Excited for next season!
