Reviews

yo

started off strong with season 1, but if I am being honest, it never quite reached the peak of that first season, season 3 comes close, but not quite, also, the visualization of the show is suffering a lot, it looks utter garbage and that is being kind, season 1 was actually very visually pleasing, but after that, it felt as though I'd be having a WAY better time just reading the comic than watching the show, especially season 4 which is right now the worst offender in the animation and visualization department, also the story is very simple and quite predictable

this series had a really big downfall, season 5 completely ruined the show for me as a whole, the finale genuinely sucked ass for all the reasons people are saying online, however, I won't let a shit finale not make me admit that seasons 1-3 were actually really great and worthy of watching

In it's genre of psychological thriller, you cannot really get better than this.

The three episodes it does adapt, are actually pretty good, but if you want a more complete adaptation of Alice in Borderland, just watch the live-action, or even better, try out the manga.

I loved season 1-2, but season 3 is awful. Like genuinely it is trash.

A masterclass in character development. Better than Breaking Bad in that regard.

My favorite anime by far.

Perfection.
There is not a single world that can describe it but 'perfection'.
This is one of the few shows that made me want to continue it and actually read it, of course, I did and still do (currently on vol. 23)
I will try out a different style of reviewing this time, dividing it into sections instead (with a lot of bias as this is one of my favorites)

Story - 10/10
As expected, the writing, characters and actions are perfectly executed, everything makes sense even if the ending is less than happy, I however, loved the ending, it is left on a miserable note yet it makes you want to see more.

Animation - 8.5/10
It's old, 1997 as we all know, but if I am being honest, I myself would give the animation a 10, but I won't because that is simply not true, HOWEVER, the art direction is flawless and it takes the manga and adapts it into this colored artstyle perfectly.

Music - 10/10
Atmospheric, makes sense, and it is LEGENDARY, in a subtle way, I myself never knew that 'Gats' or 'Behelit' came from Berserk, I heard them before on YouTube videos, just like I didn't know the skeleton meme also came from Berserk. It is for those two tracks and more that I'd say it deserves a perfect rating.

Pacing - 8/10
By pacing, I mean how much it covers, and it does fail in a lot of that, it barely covers the Black Swordsman Arc (one of my favorite arcs tbh) and it basically includes none of what happened to Guts in the past IN DETAIL, it does have some scenes but not all of them, I will also include the fact, no Skull Knight, it makes sense for this adaptation, but still, no Skull Knight :C

Overall - 9.13/10
My overall rating - 10/10

Excells in writing and characters.
The history of the world is rich and they make you feel it and see it.
Despite not being my favorite, I do commend it for bringing more attention to the dark-fantasy genre.
A Must-Watch.

I love Hajime no Ippo, it was one of my first animes. It excells in characters, the cast is loveable and the stories are wholesome. The fight sequences are also very impressive, the animation work done by MadHouse is excellent.

One of my favorite animes and I am not even into cars, like, not at all, yet it still gripped me and made me watch through it all. It is a classic, the music is legendary in internet culture, as is the Takumi's 86.
A Must-Watch for anyone.

It is a fairly simple movie, I did like the music in it, as is expected, however, the thing I didn't like is how compressed it all felt, it all felt like it was so easy to attain such popularity, like it all just came at once. The main conflict, which I do not really believe is a spoiler, between Michael and his father, feels REALLY dragged out, I get it is central, but it also should not feel pointless, which it kind of does.

It's alright. But it was not needed, I liked that we never got to see what happened with Jesse and it was left to interpretation, but I can admit it was not a BAD movie.

BREAKING BAD is the peak of live-action series, it is the most well-known one and it succeeds at being the best in all regards.

As much as talked about ATTACK ON TITAN is, I have to say, the hype is justified rather well, I loved this series and I completely understand why it is so talked about.
Definitely a Must-Watch.

It is not often that I write a review, however, this movie is just that much of a masterpiece, genuinely, I don't think there is anything bad I could say about the movie, I loved it all throught and I am not afraid to say it is one of the first movies that has actually brought me close to tears and made me emotional, it was due to this film my interest in animated content grew, I don't even know why I decided to watch this movie, but I am so glad I did, of course, this is just my opinion, anyone is free to have the complete opposite experience and hate this movie, but when it comes to my personal opinion, it is by all-means a Must-Watch movie.

fuck this

i don't need this i am dealing with my own backrooms inside my mind
