“I love the adventure that comes with this work, the travel and all that. But also the craft, the storytelling. From a kid, I remember enjoying certain books and getting swept away in movies.” Leaping into fame thanks to his debut as the mighty Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Chris Hemsworth proved to be one of the biggest action stars of the decade. He starred in every subgenre possible: in exhilarating thrillers such as Extraction (2020) or 12 Strong (2018), action comedies like Thor: Ragnarok (2017) and Bad Times at the El Royale (2018), and fantastical adventures ranging from Snow White and the Huntsman (2012) and In the Heart of the Sea (2015); showing a rich variety of action protagonists, from stoic tough guys to hilarious charmers. His deep resonant voice, muscular physique and imposing charisma made him the strongest presence in the action genre.
