A Caça (2012)★ 8.5/10

The political satire is heavy-handed, but this mashup of "Animal Farm" and a dark, twisted version of "the tortoise and the hare" is undeniably entertaining. The direction may lack finesse, but the film is a blast. The lead actress shines throughout, and the humor is genuinely on point!

"The Most Dangerous Game" meets "Animal Farm," with dialogue reminiscent of "Get Out" in terms of its sharp social commentary. The script is clever and satirical, turning conspiracy theories and online trolling into a real-life hunt. While the reason for the hunt feels a bit forced, the lead actress is incredibly cool, and the fight choreography—especially the final showdown—is top-notch.

Mikkelsen is so amazing. Vintenberg is a master. This feature is literal desperation. I love it so much.
