- Kateryna, a successful architect, reunites with her twin sister Irina in Bulgaria after twenty years apart. Their lives take a dangerous turn when Irina asks to swap passports to escape Vlado. However, instead of helping her sister, Kateryna ends up a prisoner, while romantic entanglements lead Irina to take her place in Kyiv. Living someone else's life becomes an irresistible temptation. Following an accident, everyone mistakes Irina for Kateryna, and she begins playing the role of Pavlo's wife and Sonia's mother. Kateryna's return home turns into a story of impossible love, as Vlado demands the return of stolen money. It all comes down to a disturbing question: just how far will Irina go to keep her sister's life for herself forever?
