Films writer who has written screenplays since 1990 and whose work on the film industry and background in exhibitions and attractions brought him into contact with a number of British film producers. Wes has enjoyed close associations with veteran producers and filmmakers such as Bryan Forbes, E.M(ichael) Smedley-Aston, Val Guest, Charles H.Schneer, among many others - and with Harry Alan Towers, who asked him to write his biography in 1998 before the producer (who had really wanted a ghost-written autobiography) decided to do it himself a decade later. For Towers, Wes Walker did a number of script re-workings in the producer's second wind. He had earlier worked at identifying forgotten assets within the previous life of Hammer for Roy Skeggs, and helped bring the work of forgotten London filmmakers, such as Donovan Winter, to a new age of audiences. His work elsewhere includes the creation and operation of Fort Paull Visitor Centre & Armouries and the authoring of many magazine articles, with further contributions to over 170 books since 1991.
