The Missing (2023)★ 7.4/10

Engaging, captivating, and nostalgic. The two periods of adulthood and childhood are portrayed in entirely different styles. Even if it's something created by AI, it's infused with meticulous design, training, and emotion, not to mention, maybe it's not just AI. From the intensity of working in a major company (as indicated in the film to be Netflix) to childhood flashbacks, a shadow from outer space continually looms over the protagonist and imposes a complete gag order on him. The director kindly unveils the answers and a heartwarming resolution at the end.
