Me gustó mucho esta película. La primera mitad establece el escenario, pero la segunda mitad es más atrapante. Destaca la importancia de confiar en los instintos propios y mantenerse alerta. El final, con su giro casi surrealista, sugiere que la historia podría suceder en una dimensión alternativa en lugar de en un mero bosque remoto. Es sensato ver que solo las fuerzas naturales juzgan el mal, pero también es algo desesperante.

El final, en el que una misteriosa entidad se encarga del distorsionado protagonista, se siente como si no quisieran asumir la responsabilidad por su obra. Parece que los cineastas recurrieron a introducir una obra de dios porque no pudieron resolver el conflicto a través de una trama lógica.

I know this wasn't like blockbuster expectations, and I'm all for B movies or even C and complete crap movies. You can usually see the efforts behind them even if they're terrible. I WANTED to like this movie, it had a bit of a story, characters you could feel and understand, and (sort of) had a point to make. I just feel they took wayyyyyy too long to get to that point. Too much of the storyline felt like filler without sustenance. The danger outside the car hardly felt like danger. There wasn't really any hunger from the predator and it didn't really offer anything to the story until what, 15 minutes from the end? I'dunno, like I said I wanted to like it. So I don't hate it, but expect a long narrative with not much satisfaction from the outcome. Not exactly what I was anticipating.

I quite enjoyed this film. While the first half sets the stage, the latter half is more compelling. It underscores the importance of trusting one's instincts and staying vigilant. The ending, with its almost surreal twist, suggests the story might be set in an alternate dimension rather than mere remote wilderness. It’s sobering to see evil judged only by supernatural forces, which is kinda despairing.

The ending, where the perverted protagonist is dealt with by a mysterious entity, feels like a cop-out. It seems the filmmakers resorted to introducing a deus ex machina because they couldn’t resolve the conflict through logical storytelling.
