Centurión (2010)★ 6.8/10

"Centurion" follows Michael Fassbender as a Roman centurion caught behind enemy lines in Pictish territory. More survival thriller than historical epic, the film plays like a monster movie with human predators, delivering relentless chase scenes that rarely let up.

The film makes excellent use of rugged landscapes, and the pacing keeps the energy high. The emphasis on pursuit sequences over large-scale battles adds to its tension. While the plot is basic and not every detail holds up to scrutiny, it remains a solid piece of entertainment.
