Nishi Kengo, an ex-convict and former gang member, runs "Mirai no Sato," a residential rehabilitation facility for troubled youth. He fights every day to help delinquent children and social recluses from broken homes find a way to start over. Meanwhile, Kusano Toko, a junior high school teacher, is struggling with a student named Sawa Kaito, an exceptionally uncontrollable and empathy-lacking habitual bully. Toko persuades Kaito's terrified parents to entrust the boy to Nishi's care. At the facility, Kaito reacts with violence, but Nishi and his staff refuse to give up on him.
