6 refugees attempt to escape the crumbling United States in the back of a moving truck. In the dark with nothing but a small lantern, they discuss their escape attempts, how long might be left in their journey, before recounting each of their harrowing tales that brought them to this place. After the group learns that one of the passengers is a former politician responsible for the country's collapse, tensions rise as the group realizes that they might actually be headed for harm and not salvation.
