This one is a masterpiece! It picks up where Chapter 1 left and fills up all the loopholes. There are plenty of jump scares, but they're not cheesy at all and I was scared to death in the middle of the night. It's one thing to have the overall horror vibe created well, but there are also touching moments within the movie, such as the love between the couple, the love for their children, and the help they received from the deceased Elise. All of which have helped elevate the film to a whole new level.
