Need for Speed - La película (2014)★ 6.8/10

It's hard to bring something new to a racing popcorn flick, but this game adaptation actually pulls it off. It’s rare to see so many details that avoid the usual clichés. The theme is a bit weak, but once the plot picks up halfway through, it gets pretty interesting. The racing scenes are a real visual treat and stand out as some of the best in the industry. The soundtrack is spot on and definitely worth praising!

The more you think about this movie, the worse it gets. The only thing the director really nailed was making it feel like a video game. The entire movie basically revolves around reckless young people engaging in street races and causing traffic accidents—that's all there is to it.

Am I the only one who thinks this movie is actually better than most of the Fast & Furious movies? Highly recommend adding steering wheels to the IMAX seats for the full experience!
