- Storyline
- At 41, Simone walks away from a socially "perfect" life to pursue her true calling: helping others through tarot. But reinventing herself is tougher than she imagined. Now a part-time mom to a preteen who rejects the separation, Simone also faces judgment from her mother, an ex who's already in love again, a dried-up sex life, and a new career that doesn't pay the bills. On top of it all, signs from the invisible world - including visits from the spirit of her late aunt - push her in unexpected directions. Thankfully, she can count on her best friend Kazem, a mattress salesman by day and drag queen by night, and on the wisdom of her eclectic clientele, whose problems often mirror her own and quietly fuel her personal growth. Can Simone pull off this life change? Or, simply put, live her life?
