Investigator Andrey Skuratov investigates a series of mysterious deaths: the victims die from their own phobias, and the same creepy smile is frozen on their faces. The only clue is the drug "Guru" in their blood. When the trail leads to his own wife, a practicing psychologist, Andrey breaks all the rules of the office to get to the truth. But the deeper he digs, the more he realizes that someone is playing this game, knowing all his weak points.
