- Storyline
- Robert Wilson's VOOM Series (a.k.a. Video Portraits) consists of 43 short videos which he conceived, designed, and directed between 2004 and 2009. The video-portraits interweave photography, film, literature, and sound to comment on the history of portraiture as a genre. Although his heroes appear static, they evolve gradually, indeed almost imperceptible, in a way which arrests the viewer's attention. The videos star famous actors, artists, and authors.
