She is very similar to the deceased wife of the American spy Jim Wheeler, who comes to Leningrad to meet with an agent working in a secret research institute. Counterintelligence officers, led by Volokhov, are starting a complex espionage game, intending to identify a "mole" in the defense industry. To do this, they plan to introduce Yulya into the American's inner circle, hoping that he will take the bait.
