The first half is brisk and engaging, with well-crafted suspense despite unremarkable action sequences. The main storyline is solid, and a few clever twists keep the intrigue alive.

The finale ties the story together with a secret so feeble it undermines all earlier buildup, making the six-episode structure feel stretched; a four-part miniseries would have suited it better.
