HumAIn is a scripted horror anthology in the tradition of The Twilight Zone and Black Mirror. Every episode is a self-contained case file governed by a single rule: nothing ever malfunctions. The technology does not glitch, rebel or turn on anyone. It delivers exactly what was requested, to specification, and the horror is the gap between what a person asked for and what they actually wanted. A vlogger's followers keep watching after she stops. A father secretly rigs his son's championship game and gets the result he ordered. A son uploads his dying father's consciousness into the family smart home and discovers the fine print made him the tenant rather than the landlord. Each trial is observed, recorded and closed by the company that supplied the arrangement, which finds no defect in the product, the personnel or the subject.
