- After a deadly viral outbreak devastates civilization, undercover agent Kyle Crane is sent into the quarantined city of Harran, where he uncovers a struggle for survival ruled by brutal warlords, dwindling medicine, and a corrupt global organization known as the GRE. As Crane becomes infected, he turns against his handlers, exposing plans to weaponise the virus and choosing to protect survivors instead. Years later, the world has fallen further. Pilgrim Aiden Caldwell arrives in the city of Villedor searching for his lost sister and the truth behind experiments that altered him as a child. Trapped between rival factions and a scientist willing to sacrifice entire cities, Aiden's choices shape the fate of Villedor while he battles both the infected and his own transformation. Long after Harran, Crane escapes GRE captivity, altered into something no longer fully human. Joining forces with Aiden and other survivors, he wages war against those still exploiting the virus, igniting a final reckoning against the GRE and the forces responsible for the collapse of the world.
