- Storyline
- GREAT TASTE is a scripted mockumentary style comedy that parodies the world of food and travel television, while showcasing real restaurants, real experiences, and real people. It's ANTHONY BOURDAIN: NO RESERVATIONS meets RENO 911. This half-hour, single-cam series follows the lowest-rated show in Food Network history. The two utterly inept hosts, Gary and Amy, fumble their way through local restaurants and experiences, attempting to out Fieri the Guy. When the network suddenly threatens cancellation unless ratings improve, the hosts must scramble to produce a watchable TV show while also attempting to inspire their equally inept crew whose incompetence continuously sabotage their efforts. The show is anchored by a cast of comedic creators with a combined audience of over 4 million followers. Our hosts, Gary and Amy, are played by Brittany Lee McDonald and Michael Delisle (@Official.HomeSweetHome). The show also stars Glo Tavarez (THE CHAIR COMPANY), Clay Nott (@NottClay), Sammie Mayti (@iamsammielol), and Eli Leonard (CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM) as the crew.
