- This drama comedy follows the employees and customers of the bar Atlantis, hidden in the concrete-gray neighborhood of Helsinki's Itä-Pasila. Kauri, Nita, Riku, Iiris, and Anni try to navigate life while struggling to deal with their feelings. The first season focuses on 27-year-old Kauri, a lifestyle nomad and born optimist who is used to running away from everything and everyone: difficult emotions, complicated relationships, clingy boyfriends, annoying jobs, and bad weather. This time, Kauri is leaving with his van to go surfing in Portugal, thinking that he can learn how to surf once he gets there. On the night of his departure, however, his van breaks down and Kauri is stuck. To get money to repair the van, he has to return to work at Atlantis, a bar owned by his second cousin Riku. At the same time, Kauri falls in love with mysterious Leo, who disappears and reappears when least expected.
