- Storyline
- This fascinating animated fantasy drama is an alternate history set in Edo-period Japan, where Red Pox devastated the male population, leading women into traditionally male roles, such as that of the Shogun, while the most eligible men are chosen to serve as concubines. This animation is ideal for those who enjoy thought-provoking dystopian allegories, exploring themes of gender, society and the resilience of the human spirit.
