E.A.T. (2023)
- Comedy
Directed by: Poochie Rivera
E.A.T. is a Philippine noontime variety show co-produced by TVJ Productions Inc. and MediaQuest Holdings and aired on TV5. E.A.T. is aired on weekdays from 12:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. and on Saturdays from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.. The program is the successor to the longest-running noontime variety program Eat Bulaga!. This appeared to be temporary as the trio themselves has said that they would continue legal efforts to reclaim the original title coined by Joey de Leon and largely identified with TVJ for the nearly 44 years of the show. The show premiered on July 1, 2023, taking the timeslot previously occupied by the ABS-CBN Entertainment noontime variety show It's Showtime, who returned to the 12:00 p.m. timeslot since May 1, 2023 following the conclusion of Tropang LOL (formerly Lunch Out Loud). It's Showtime stopped it's simulcast on TV5 to give way to E.A.T., due to the expiration of the blocktime agreement between TV5 and ABS-CBN to air It's Showtime on the network and the show eventually moved to GTV the next day. Its first episode is titled "TVJ and the Dabarkads: Moving Forward to TV5".
