Storyline

Ruby Yao, a 32-year-old event planner, has had more than a healthy sex life in her relatively-short time in the world. Because of a strained relationship with her father and other issues, she's ended up using sex as a surrogate for other things missing in her life. She actually has trouble maintaining any sort of healthy relationship with anyone. Her only real friend, there for her though thick and thin, is AJ, who knows the goings-on in Ruby's life better than Ruby herself. Still in search of real love, Ruby thinks she has actually been on the brink of it a few times... AJ is the first to realize, then to try to convince Ruby, that not only are all of Ruby's past sexual partners starting to die one by one, but that they are dying in the order that she slept with them. AJ and Ruby try to find out why these deaths are happening, and they find one anomaly: Richie Diane, whom Ruby barely remembers. Ruby thinks that her client Isaac Torres might be her forever one--but he's unavailable.
