Two policemen - Katya and her partner Kukharenko - find a strange man with a canvas bag on his head at the bus stop. His name is Roma Aksentiev. Before that, he had been in the hospital for six months, but more than a 30-year-old man does not remember anything decisively: where he lives, where his relatives are, what happened before the hospital. Aksentiev has a gift: as soon as he touches the hands of a man or woman, he sees their past or future. Such psychic abilities can be useful to the police, especially since right now a mysterious maniac named Vodyanoy appears in a provincial town. He drowns his victims in ponds. The mystical detective will reveal the secrets of Aksentiev's gift and past, and the psychic himself will help Katya and her partner to solve more than one complicated case.
