- During the mapping ceremony, Ashira learns from the Enchantress that her wolf has an abnormality. She is a stealer, a wolf that can provide a pup with any male, even if they are not her mate. She will also attract male wolves who have lost their mate and believe that she is their true mate. The worst of it is that a stealer can be stolen too, unless they are claimed by their mate and complete the mating process. Ashira is guided to Prime pack, where she will hopefully find her true mate and join the pack, instead of being a rogue. Upon her arrival, Prime pack is preparing for their Mating Party and Ashira comes face to face with Alpha Aiden. It turns out that she is mated with Alpha Aiden. The Alpha of Prime pack, the strongest pack of the North. She needs Aiden to claim her, to mark her in order for her wolf to be accustomed to whom she belongs. But Aiden doesn't want a mate. "Won't you claim me?" She asked. "I'm making myself an exception to this tradition," Aiden said in a cold tone. "You're not claiming me?!" she exclaimed. "I'll never put my claim on you." He said before turning his back on her. How will Ashira force him to mark her? Her wolf's abnormality needed his fangs deep in her neck and now she's frustrated and desperate.
