Watching the show made me see that his determination and focus are just as impressive as his good looks. Not many celebs can juggle their personal and family lives like he and Victoria did. It's clear they put in the work and always had each other's backs with love and trust. That's not something everyone can manage. And here's the kicker - Beckham's a total neat freak, which caught me off guard. Shows there's a lot more to him than meets the eye, personality-wise.

The first couple of episodes are alright, but yeah, they do fall into some clichés. That whole montage with the corner-kick? Good setup for that epic sports vibe the director was going for. But let's talk about the last two episodes - now those really shook things up, especially with the whole coach switching at Real Madrid. That had me cracking up, and it brought this more chilled-out vibe that was a nice change of pace. And Victoria's snarky remarks? Absolute gold. When you look back on the whole series, it's still a pretty inspiring tale about hard work, passion, and building solid relationships with those good ol' traditional values. Plus, it's totally family-friendly - perfect for a cozy night in with the whole crew.

This documentary series was really well done; it captures exactly what the audience wants to see. The show can be enjoyed even by non-soccer fans like myself. I used to think that Beckham's fame came solely from his looks, but watching this documentary made me realize his amazing soccer skills.

It was really amazing. I mean, storytelling is an art, because stories can be tweaked, and characters can be shaped as needed. But Beckham is truly a great soccer player through and through, helping bring in the golden age of English football with his dedication and unwavering discipline over the decades. No one achieves success easily, and I really respect that.

I can only say that the more I watch, the more disappointed I am. It's so obvious that Beckham, who placed too much ad content into this documentary, has managed to become a good businessman and boss. I have to admit that the first two episodes are both particularly successful at both pacing and editing, but the last episode is a total collapse. The part on Miami and the son's final undertaking of his legacy are designed too commercially and intentionally, which makes people think that this whole documentary is meant for business operations instead of the love of soccer. I'd discussed the first two episodes with my friend, and we found many touching stories that we are familiar with, while there is too much content in the last two episodes that I don't know. As I'm finishing this review, I actually wish that it is more than enough for Romeo, to at least reach a spiritual achievement similar to his father's, rather than simply match his physical soccer achievements.

I know about all the things shown in the show, so besides the nostalgia for my youth, I also liked the camera angles and chosen plot points. The post-Manchester United soccer career, especially the World Cup, takes up very little time. The Beckham of the title is the last name of two people, and Victoria is the heroine. The most shocking detail is that Posh actually told Beckham the news of her pregnancy the night before the 1998 England-Afghanistan World Cup match. From fathers to sons, from Beckham to Messi, the succession is touching. Soccer and family, on and off the field, cleanliness and excitement, all seem to be an eternal process of balancing and compensation for Beckham.

Very well done. The only thing that dissatisfies me is the short length of the World Cup, with the 2002 "revenge match" only presented for a few seconds and the 2006 World Cup surprisingly skipped right over. The main story line is about his fate, career and marriage. Life is like a dream, and what he sees when looking back again, what is clear, what is powerless and what is disappearing, is ultimately the word, 'choice'. I’ve never regretted loving that wonderful you when I was young, and that's enough.
