- Storyline
- Kate Wyler is a diplomat who is unexpectedly offered the position of U.S. Ambassador to the United Kingdom. This position has a high-profile political impact, although that doesn't weigh on Kate as much as the media, especially given her marriage to fellow former diplomat Hal Wyler. The series, starring a magnetic performance by Keri Russell, is sustained by its credible view of diplomacy and the comings and goings of politics.
