The Trial (2019)★ 6.9/10

Has a good premise, a few so characteristically wittly Italian dialogues and so I started with high expectations. But then the pacing gets weird somewhere along the way, and sometimes when the seemingly less relevant parts of the story take over, it seems like forever until we feel like we're back on track and chasing the main point again somehow, maybe. It delivers a decently resolved, but slightly unplugged ending.
