Storyline
Nader Parvar is a divorced man struggling with drug addiction while trying to take care of his young daughter, Dorsa. He lives in Karaj and has a difficult relationship with his former wife, Maryam, who is Dorsa's mother. Nader's already unstable life becomes more complicated when his father, Ous Ahmad Parvar, dies and he returns to the family home. Nader soon finds himself caught in a dispute with his older brother Saber, his sister Behjat, and Behjat's husband Tofigh over their father's inheritance. The inheritance consists mainly of the family house and the bakery that Ous Ahmad owned. Each member of the family has different plans for the property, turning what should be a simple division of the inheritance into a series of arguments, misunderstandings and personal conflicts. While the family struggles over the property, Nader's addiction and financial problems continue to affect his relationship with Dorsa and the rest of the family. Saber is also dealing with problems involving his daughters, Farideh and Farzaneh, while Tofigh's attempts to improve his own situation add to the family's troubles. Meanwhile, the bakery becomes the center of several disputes involving its employees and people connected to the family. As Nader attempts to put his life back together and deal with his responsibilities as a father, he repeatedly becomes involved in the problems of those around him. His efforts to overcome his addiction and repair his relationship with Maryam and Dorsa are complicated by the family's financial disputes and the schemes of people who try to take advantage of their situation. The death of Ous Ahmad ultimately forces the members of the Parvar family to confront their old disagreements, personal weaknesses and complicated relationships.
