- Storyline
- In 1954 20-year-old foreign language expert Toni gets entangled in a war of the two rivalling German secret service organizations. Her loyalties are tested when she finds the dark secrets of her own family - and the war related trauma of the man she loves. With a stellar ensemble, amazing sets of both the oak-panelled halls of power as well as the seedy German underworld, this six-part spy series and family drama based on historical facts shows a rarely seen epoch between Nazi regime and Cold War and a nation deeply torn and traumatized.
