Tracy_OlsenMarch 28, 2024The protagonist is molded with a feminist take on masculinity, which is quite a unique perspective and the first time I've seen it. With "deconstructing masculinity" as its theme, it completely shatters the traditional notion of the "alpha male" and reverses gender roles. While not explicitly stated, the viewpoint is clearly presented. The first half is quite humorous, the second half gets a bit frustrating but still enjoyable, and the ending is just phenomenal.

Bridget_CummingsMarch 28, 2024I really like it. What does masculinity really mean? I've always thought that Spain/Latin America is the most macho region, but they also good listeners sometimes. The whole TV series is filled with a captivating and vibrant depiction of life.

Amina_WebsterMarch 26, 2024The second season is even funnier than the first, all thanks to the amazing chemistry between the characters that set the tone for the entire show. If they can keep that vibe going, it'll be a top-notch comedy series that won't let you down. Pues que tengan la tercera temporada (Let's have a third season)! Plus, the show does a great job of showcasing the beauty of Madrid, with every episode highlighting iconic landmarks and local streets, featuring the most authentic bars, coffee shops, and restaurants. I love how each season wraps up at the same landmark. It's such a clever way to tie everything together using the cityscape.

Kirk_GrossMarch 26, 2024Season two is even funnier than the first season! Every joke in the middle parts of the whole season is spot-on and made me burst out laughing. Three of the four guys delve into discussions about intimate relationships (open marriages), identity politics (gender/gender identity), and workplace harassment (patriarchy/feminism). Plus, handsome Raúl is adding his charm to the mix, and it's overall hilarious! The Caballero siblings really know what their audience wants, and I even learned a new term, "TERF." I can't wait for the next season!

Alisa_WatersMarch 26, 2024It's so, so good—a standout among Netflix's Spanish series. The main characters are male, but the storyline delves into female empowerment and feminist themes, offering a perspective that's new to me. This show breaks down the typical notion of "alpha males" by focusing on "deconstructing masculinity," and it really reshapes gender roles subtly yet effectively. The first half is hilarious, and while the second half can be a bit frustrating, it still keeps you hooked. The ending is absolutely memorable, and I can't wait for the next season!
