This is my take on season 5.UNDERWHELMING that’s just one word for it. Don’t even get me started on the acting performances and screenplay. Extremely dorky and corny. The contrast between season 1 and 5 is insane. They focused too much on the production side and VFX they lost it with the plot. So disappointing. Still in my top 5 shows but definitely not cause of this season finale.

The scene at the end of S5E7 where Will coming-out was so annoying; it made me think it was a plot by Vickner to make him a spy and buy time.

The fact that they're splitting a season in two again works against it. But it's still spectacular.

This series has the best cast I've ever seen, always standing out compared to others in the genre. The charisma and acting of the actors are incredible. I'm addicted; I've cried and laughed a lot too. It's all so amazing, how can it be?

The first season is great, full of suspense, lots of questions, and creates enormous expectations. From the second season onwards, the series becomes a huge disappointment; the characters don't develop.

Excellent series with young and adult protagonists, an excellent saga with multiple protagonists and incredible plot twists with the best character developments and epic and glorious deaths

The story development is a bit slow. The monster appeared less than one minute in all eight episodes. It's clear that the directors really understand what young viewers want to see. I'm guessing that most people who enjoy this show are young because older viewers like myself might find it a bit juvenile. I'd call it a mystery-filled coming-of-age love story rather than just a fantasy tale.

This show really pays homage to the entire '80s sci-fi, horror, and coming-of-age movies. It also incorporates various elements of American pop culture from that era. The catchy electronic music really heightens the immersion even more. The young actors do a great job, although Winona Ryder still has room for improvement. The pacing, suspense, and plot twists are all spot-on, keeping you hooked from start to finish. Sure, there may be some issues, but it doesn't matter because the whole show is so entertaining that the flaws are overshadowed.

I highly recommend it! I binge-watched all eight episodes in one day. The precise storytelling pace, excellent cultural references, and nostalgic tribute to the '80s make the show stand out from most shows nowadays. This show portrays a beautiful small town and highlights the good side of human nature. It's that warm feeling that always gets to me.

The series is a blend of The Lovely Bones and Stand by Me and utilizes multiple narrative threads: one follows four kids combining whimsical ideas with logical reasoning; another focuses on Joyce's unwavering belief that her son is still alive; a third details the chief of police's hands-on search for the truth; and a fourth reveals Jonathan inadvertently capturing evidence of the monster's existence. All these threads converge in the final two episodes, showcasing an exceptionally well-crafted script.

Stranger Things masterfully pays homage to Spielberg, Carpenter, and the entirety of 80s sci-fi, horror, and coming-of-age films, while also packing in loads of American pop culture references from the decade, enhanced by catchy synth music. The young actors deliver impressive performances, though Winona Ryder sometimes seems a bit over the top. The pacing, suspense, and plot twists are perfectly executed, making it hard to stop watching. Despite its flaws, it's still highly entertaining.
