- A malevolent alien entity has taken control of humanity and the course of human history. An entirely new civilization has been forged from its ashes and for a purpose never revealed and because of indoctrination, is also never questioned. Five individuals, all of whom are not only connected to each other, but are key players in the entity's game, are afforded the chance to see its ultimate goal and their own demise.
