- Storyline
- For a LGBTQ individual to discover, accept and share his/her true sexual identity still is tabu in our society, but it's also a crucial moment for those who go through it. "Fora do Armário" shows the challenges of the aftermath of that moment of truth. With interviews and real life scenes in the style of "Cinéma Vérité", the doc series presents the actions and reactions of family members and friends of the main characters after the revelation, when their relationships and daily lives are put to test. Some of the characters of the 10 episodes are a transgender girl going through her reassignment surgery, a gay man that makes a living as a drag queen and a father of two who comes out of the closet in his 40s.
