Original title
The Magic Roundabout
Storyline
A stop-motion animated television series, set in a brightly colored and stylized park containing the eponymous roundabout (a fairground carousel). Although the characters are common to the French and English versions, they were given different names and personalities in each language. The main character is Dougal (Pollux in the French version), a temperamental Skye Terrier with a snarky sense of humor. His owner is Florence (Margote in the French version), a level-head young girl. The other major characters include Zebedee (Zébulon), the benevolent wizard who rules the Magic Garden, the happy-go-lucky snail Brian (Ambroise), the aspiring opera singer Ermintrude (Azalée), and the laid-back guitarist Dylan (Flappy).
