- The sins of a greedy villain come back to destroy his son's life in this story of evil and revenge. Fernando takes control of some neighboring lands by killing its honorable owner, and years later his own son falls in love with one of the murdered man's daughters. At the same time, the dead man's other daughter who has been separated from her sister returns with wishes of revenge for the death of his father. She also falls in love with Fernando's son and the need for revenge joins the jealousy that affects both of them. In the most exciting moment of the novel, both discover that they are sisters and join forces to avenge their father's death. At the same time, love begins to take a bit of control over the situation, and one of the sisters will find true love with the son of her father's murderer.
