Yu Zhou and Jingcheng Sun, due to their diametrically opposed personalities, decided to divorce amicably. Yu Zhou was always well-mannered and possessed high emotional intelligence, while Jingcheng Sun was carefree and lacked responsibility. The two carefully concealed their divorce from their families, hoping to end their marriage quietly. However, their mother, Suying Hu, firmly believed that "no one should be missing from the family", forcefully intervened in their marriage, causing their divorce plans to fail. Just then, their sister, Jingfei Sun, brought home a pregnant daughter, Little Wanzi, claiming she was the child of Jingcheng Sun's friend and temporarily being cared for by the Sun family. Knowing their mother's conservative nature, the two understood that if Suying Hu found out about the pregnancy, it would cause a huge uproar in the family. Therefore, the divorce had to be temporarily postponed. This unexpected turn of events gave Yu Zhou and Jingcheng Sun an opportunity to reconnect their relationship and they began to try to learn how to be a couple and how to manage their marriage. Meanwhile, the four siblings of the Sun family were also mired in their own life's difficulties. The eldest brother, a policeman, is upright and kind, but he is struggling to breathe under the heavy burden of supporting the family. The second brother lives a comfortable life, but he is always troubled by his non-biological parentage. The youngest sister works hard in the big city and becomes a successful businesswoman, but suddenly loses her job and has to return to her hometown to face her mother, with whom she has had a long-standing feud. This family longs to regain peace and happiness in their lives, but reality has thrown their lives into chaos, and the future is full of unknowns and challenges.
