Two young waitresses at a greasy spoon diner strike up an unlikely friendship in the hopes of launching a successful business - if only they can raise the cash.

Original title

2 Broke Girls

Storyline

In Brooklyn's rough and tumble underbelly, two waitresses from opposite worlds collide. Max, the street-smart Brooklyn native with a sharp tongue and a cupcake dream, and Caroline, the fallen socialite with a trust fund cut-off, join forces to turn their shared hustle into a bakery empire. But with quirky co-workers, a sassy owner, and their own clashing personalities, their journey from broke to bakery is a hilarious recipe for disaster (and maybe even friendship).
