- In season 1 when friends and co-workers Aaron, Bryn, Derek, Olivia and Jack are laid-off, they decide to each start their own companies and soon find themselves competing in a mysterious "business contest" worth $500,000. For one winner. Season 2 begins six months after Aaron, Bryn, Derek, Olivia and Jack combine forces to found their "Skype with holograms" start-up C3D. With buzz building for the upcoming launch, the C3D team is beset by a suspicious series of setbacks that threaten their personal and professional futures.
