In 2022, thousands are trapped in a virtual MMORPG. Kirito, a lone player, fights to find a way out and survive the digital world.
- Original title
- Sword Art Online
- Storyline
- Gamers from around the world start to experience fully immersive virtual reality when, one day, the 'log-out' function is removed, leaving players with only one way to escape the game, in which dying means dying for real: completing all 100 increasingly difficult levels. While Kirito was fortunate enough to beta-test the game, he realised that despite his advantages, he could not overcome the challenges alone.
