good!

Initially attracted to the MMORPG theme, I found the series disappointingly dull and lacking.

The pacing of Sword Art Online is poorly managed. The first four episodes lack any significant plot development but the storyline is rushed towards the end.

The setting of the virtual world is intriguing, and the anime's premise of searching for the essence of life within a virtual realm is compelling. The animation is beautiful, and the story is engaging and well-connected.

Looking back, the climactic moments felt forced and somewhat illogical. I am not sure if the original novel makes more sense. The game world in the first half was acceptable, but the fairy game in the later part was a letdown. The ending was ok.

Sword Art Online seems to be a major production, but it also seems to fall into cliché as it progresses. Perhaps the brevity of its 14-episode run didn't allow the show to fully explore the novel’s intricate settings. Reading the novel first might provide a better understanding of the story. Nonetheless, the MMORPG setting is intriguing.

As a fan of the novels, I think the anime's first episode did a commendable job of staying true to the source material, even enhancing some aspects. It shows that with effort and care, adaptations can sometimes surpass their original works. I look forward to seeing how it unfolds.

No entanto, o cenário do MMORPG é intrigante.
