"ADULTS" follows Dave and Ainsley, two struggling artists misaligned with society's expectations to have a family and career at their age, as they try to make rent and stay afloat in a young, fast-paced Los Angeles. The show revolves around the never ending plight of getting older as an artist in a young-person's industry, as Dave asks in the pilot, "How do you remain financially stable while pursuing your dreams," to which Ainsley replies, "I think you have to sell HerbaLife or something."
